I know the frustration of having done countless diets, overthinking what foods are the healthiest, beating yourself up for eating the ''forbidden'' foods, constantly losing weight and putting it back on again, and never accepting your body as it is.

 

This is SO exhausting.

 

And the sad part is that you end up carrying feelings of shame, self-doubt, and low self-esteem.

 

You are not lacking willpower or discipline. This is not about being a failure. 

 

The problem is the diet culture, not you.

We are constantly bombarded with diet culture messages about the thin ideal, weight, detoxes, and how we should feed our bodies.

 

Food becomes "good" or "bad" and inevitably, we end up setting food rules. We all know that voice in our heads that keeps telling us "you shouldn't eat that" or "you need to work this donut off"; it’s almost automatic.

Diet mentality keeps you thinking that there will be a new diet that will help you lose weight permanently and that eventually, you will accept your body and be happy.

 

But this is a false belief.

The reality is that the diet mindset takes up so much of your energy and mental space that you have little time to explore and re-connect with other aspects of yourself.

Your true, authentic SELF.

 

Rejecting the idea that there are any good diets out there, and recognising that diets don’t work long-term is the first step to healing your relationship with food, your body and mind.

 

Although taking this first step may feel daunting, it is truly an act of self-trust and self-love. It is an inward journey to the mind-body connection and healing that involves unlearning and relearning, self-discovery and growth.

I want to help you break the diet mentality and support you in developing trust in yourself and around food, learning skills to cope with your emotions, and building better self-compassion and self-esteem.

Intuitive Eating Coaching Programme

This programme includes 5 sessions and integrates holistic counselling skills with Intuitive Eating coaching to help you understand the deeper connection between your eating habits and emotions, break free from the diet mindset, and heal your relationship with food and your body. You will leave feeling a sense of more freedom, self-connection, and self-acceptance.

Gentle Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching Programme

Using a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to nutrition and lifestyle, this 4-week programme is specially tailored to help you achieve your goals, whether these are to boost your energy, sleep better or find joyful movement. You will be able to tune into what you want and need so you make food and lifestyle choices from a place of self-care rather than a place of control and restriction.

1:1 Holistic Counselling Sessions

Food can become an emotional life preserver for those who have experienced childhood or adolescent trauma, and it’s understandably hard to let it go.

Using a traditional approach with more holistic and spiritual methods, I will guide you to relieve that sense of overwhelm, loneliness, stress, isolation and confusion in a non-judgemental and caring space.

Using health care frameworks, such as Intuitive Eating and Body Image Healing, as well as different holistic counselling skills, I support my clients to build a healthy relationship with food and their body, while building lasting habits and behaviour change to find sustainable health, peace and balance.
